In my role, I took charge of developing essential internal and external communication materials for the department, such as policy drafting, project proposals, operations manuals, and research on industry and ITIL standards. Collaborating with City of Grand Prairie office stakeholders and team members, I led the creation of the department’s first comprehensive policy and procedures manual, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, my strong communication and technical skills came into play as I successfully crafted winning project proposals, leading to the IT department receiving an esteemed ITIL award.
